I am 26 years old. Prior to seeing Dr. Meadows, I would often be told I had the back of a 90 year old and I was just too young to have surgery. I would wake up some mornings in a state of paralysis because it hurt so much. I literally could not move. Most days my mother would have to help me get out of bed, get dressed, and tie my shoes. I could not do any normal activities at all. I couldn’t play with my nieces couldn’t go out with friends, even going to work was sometimes out of the question. I had seen chiropractors, physical therapists, surgeons, and pain management specialists for years. No one could help. I was to a point where the only way to even try to function was to be drugged 24/7 with pain meds, anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxers, and ambient to keep me asleep through the pain at night. I had all but given up when I found Dr. Meadows with the help of my boyfriend. At his request to just try one more time, I made the appointment. Dr. Meadows was the first doctor to explain everything in my MRI, going as far as drawing pictures to provide a better visual of what happened in my spine. I decided if I never gave Dr. Meadows a chance, I would never know if his treatments would work, and he seemed truly interested in helping me fix my back. The treatments were painless. The staff in Dr. Meadows’s office is extremely helpful, friendly, and also seem to be genuinely concerned about making sure I was comfortable and remained pain free during treatments. Today I am almost 100% pain free. I can go for walks with my boyfriend without having to stop 5 minutes because it hurts. I can play with my nieces and even pick up my new nephew. Before, someone would have to hand him to me after I was sitting down. I have my life back. I am 26 years old! I can finally live like I am. Thank you Dr. Meadows and staff for giving me my life back. I truly appreciate all of your time and caring.
