I was starting to lose hope and was skeptical during my first meeting because the other types of treatment had not worked for me.

Since the summer of 2004 I had been living with extreme back pain that was getting worse over time. I was informed that it was a protruded disc that was causing my lower back pain. The pain changed my life because I was no longer able to be active as I had been before. My fears were heightened by the fact that I was trying to conceive and was concerned that I would not be able to have a normal pregnancy due to the pain. After four years of constant pain, three MRI’s, steroid injections, a spine specialist, three physical therapists, a chiropractor, yoga classes, and numerous acupuncture treatments, I found your spinal decompression program at the Spinal Treatment (Relief) Center in Redmond, WA.

I was starting to lose hope and was skeptical during my first meeting because the other types of treatment had not worked for me. I specifically remember on my second visit, trying to hold back tears while listening to your describe exactly what was happening with my body and why. I was so elated that a doctor was taking the time to communicate with me and explain why and how this treatment would benefit me. During the visits with the doctors I had seen over those 4 years prior to you, I often left crying with frustration because it seemed like no one knew how to help me, or had the time to explain things to me – instead I was rushed out the door. I walked out of your office on our second pre-program meeting feeling enlightened and hopeful once again that this treatment could work for me.

The process of decompression treatment was relaxing and required nothing of me except stillness, patience and commitment. Your staff always put in 110% to make sure I was always comfortable.

It has been four months since I started the treatment and my pain level has dropped significantly, (from a 7-8 to a 0-1, on a scale of 1-10). I am confident that with the continued eduation, I will continue to heal throughout the upcoming months and return to running, yoga, and many of the other activities I enjoy that have been cut out of my life over the past years.

I am so thankful to you and your staff for the incredible compassion and professionalism they displayed every time I walked into the office. I was always greeted with a smile and a hello. Your staff is wonderful, professional group whom I am continually impressed with.

Thank you Dr. Meadows!
Sincerely,
